If I am going to compare the two films "Angela`s Ashes" and "The Miracle Worker" I can say the fight against a handicap had much more impact on me.Sure in both films they try to change a life but in "Angela`s Ashes" it is more likely to overcome it.There had been several persons in the history who were able to overcome an obstacle or to climb up the social ladder.But teaching a blind and a dumb girl to communicate in each way is almost impossible.Besides if you are a teacher, who had been handicapped before and people have prejudices, it becomes more difficult to get ahead.
To sum up both films were great and high of quality but "The Miracle Worker" was much more impressive. The rols were carried out so well that I could really feel the film.
